SOLD OUT
A multi-model life drawing extravaganza.
Inspired by David Rodriguez Tóvar’s debut exhibition Roaring on the Other Side of Silence, this is a body-positive life drawing experience celebrating the male nude, featuring two art models who are both subjects of Tóvar’s work: Musa Hayat and Kage Douglas.
“Seen from the artist’s distinctly queer gaze, this collection of oil paintings celebrates the beauty in the ordinary life of a community, from gently observed portraits to more evocative moments and compositions.”
In line with the spirit of the exhibition, this life drawing evening will enable participants to realise the beauty, sensitivity and formidable qualities of the male form.
Drawing will take place in the Burgh House gallery and public spaces, and all levels of drawing ability are welcome and encouraged.
So, leave your reservations at the door, help yourself to a drink (included in the ticket price) and let the creativity flow!
Materials, boards and paper are provided, and you are welcome to bring your own.
Online booking essential, limited spaces available.
Tickets: £13.70 (£9.38 Burgh House Members & U25s)
