This course introduces the use of AI, blockchain, and metaverse technologies to art businesses and museums. With the global transition to online business during the COVID-19 pandemic, and continued innovations in fields such as AI, blockchain, and the metaverse, art businesses and museums alike are searching for ways to innovate and leverage these technologies to drive sales and engagement. This course will act as a practical introduction to these technologies, how key art world players are using them successfully, and how they will continue to develop in the future. Participants will gain insight into sector-specific digital tools such as the blockchain, Online Viewing Rooms, Social Media Platforms, NFT marketplaces, AI tools, Augmented Reality technology, and more.
