Join artist Leo Crane to explore the moving image using simple materials and a smartphone app. Drawing, capturing, erasing and re-drawing, you will make a series of charcoal images to produce your own mini movie. Starting with an introduction to frame-by-frame animation, you will be guided through process and techniques. You will then develop your own animation ideas, with creative and technical support throughout the day.
